I have seen a lot of pins lately with paper mache dishes, and I thought I would try it myself. I used a textured paper, but in future I would use smooth thin paper for a smoother finish. I just covered a bowl with saran wrap and attached ripped paper using Mod Podge. Once it was dry I added gold leaf to the inside. Next just finish it with a clear coat of spray lacquer.
I will be added these dishes to a bookcase I am styling, I will defiantly be trying this easy DIY again.
